Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Managing programs and projects to support organizational goals, including overseeing activities to ensure successful execution. 2) Monitoring progress and identifying issues related to cost, schedule, and performance, and implementing corrective actions as needed. 3) Providing guidance on policies, procedures, and program requirements to ensure compliance and effective operations. 4) Collaborating with stakeholders, including agency officials, contractors, and customers, to address challenges and improve program outcomes. AND 5) Developing budgets, plans, and reports to support decision-making and program management.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

- Serves as Program Manager for the AE Contract and Criteria Branch and its supporting applications and modules with responsibility for exercising management and operational control over the assigned programs and activities.
- Coordinates, develops, and provides authoritative interpretations of DA and USACE policy regarding program application, budgets, cost and schedule control.
- Requires the incumbent to apply an extensive knowledge of effective management principles and practices in connection with policies, regulations, and procedures using P2, CEFMS, PIEE, and other project management data systems.
- Develops and establishes policies to facilitate implementation of program initiatives.
