We are seeking a Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and delivery of technology initiatives within large Federal enterprise environments. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, resources, risks, performance metrics, and stakeholder communications across one or more concurrent efforts. The Project Manager works closely with technical teams, Government stakeholders, and delivery partners to ensure alignment with contractual objectives, service expectations, and organizational priorities. This position emphasizes structured execution, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement to enable predictable, high-quality outcomes across project lifecycles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities across the full lifecycle, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and work breakdown structures aligned to delivery priorities and milestones.
• Manage project scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests to maintain schedule integrity and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate resource planning, staffing alignment, and task assignments to support operational and project objectives.
• Track progress across delivery activities, including Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, releases, and deployments.
• Monitor performance metrics and service delivery indicators to support operational oversight and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate recurring status meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder briefings to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, and formal communications for Government and internal leadership audiences.
• Support governance processes related to configuration management, change control, release coordination, and documentation compliance.
• Coordinate deliverable management activities to ensure required artifacts are completed accurately and submitted on schedule.
• Manage communications related to high-priority incidents, operational risks, or delivery impacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, delivery processes, and team effectiveness.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 5+ years of progressive experience supporting or managing technology projects in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, scope, risks, deliverables, and performance tracking across multiple initiatives.
• Working knowledge of project management frameworks and Agile or iterative delivery practices.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder communications, status reviews, and coordination across technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with service delivery management concepts, including performance metrics and service level expectations.
• Experience using project tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive and technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accountability for delivery outcomes.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
• Experience working with Federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs, is a plus.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multi-vendor or matrixed team environments.
• Familiarity with governance processes in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery at scale or large enterprise service operations.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) preferred.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
