Duties
Help
  • Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
  • Appraises performance of subordinate supervisors and other employees directly supervised and serves as reviewing official on evaluation of non-supervisory employees rated by subordinate supervisors.
  • Supports the commands and USA's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program through allocation of personnel to participate in community outreach and recruitment programs, ensures full cooperation of employees with EEO office officials.
  • Leads cyberspace training requirements analysis and program development efforts to define requirements, objectives, and priorities to address immediate training needs within the cyber force.
  • Leads the organization's continuing collaboration with workforce planning and civilian/military personnel management/training authorities to integrate these cyberspace training requirements into their programs.
  • Leads team members in making use of the Joint Training Tool (JTT) to document these training objectives and requirements and make them available for use by other members of the DoW cyber community
  • Represents the Command in discussions and negotiations with external cyberspace program partners to explore establishing joint ventures for cyberspace training.
  • Guiding the Training and Education Requirements Division in identifying and forecasting operational training needs.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
  • The incumbent must be able to complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam
  • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 30% of the time.
  • his is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R
  • Must pass urinalysis testing, as required, prior to appointment, reassignment, or transfer and periodically thereafter.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential." In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations ) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.
  • In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level:
  • 1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Overseeing personnel management to advise staff on policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management. 2) Interpreting training objectives to determine how to utilize command resources to achieve goals. 3) Conducting assessment of programs and resource allocations to optimize support of cyber workforce, and 4) Collaborating to integrate cyber training with operations and pre-planned courses of action.
