Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Crestview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site personnel regarding security-related matters and/or operational needs.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incidents in written reports, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
