Job Description
Technical Project Manager
Edera L3C is a fast-growing healthcare consultancy that addresses today's issues and helps create tomorrow's solutions by connecting the brightest minds in healthcare. Our team of management, clinical, revenue, technology, and creative services consultants work collaboratively with industry experts who bring deep experience and expertise to create transformational business solutions. We believe complex challenges and multi-faceted opportunities call for multi-disciplinary approaches and that's how we work. We transform healthcare by bringing industry best practices from the private sector to the public sector, and the public sector to the private sector. Edera is an L3C (a variation of a limited liability company) that places "purpose before profit" a social enterprise venture. This means we are focused on a socially beneficial mission to transform organizations rather than being driven to maximize income. Profits beyond our business sustainability goals are reinvested into communities or clients.
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with deep experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics solutions within healthcare environments. This role will lead full lifecycle projects focused on Dynamics 365 implementations, integrations, workflow optimization, and data-driven transformation using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate understands the intersection of enterprise healthcare systems and Microsoft technologies, enabling successful delivery of secure, compliant, and high-impact solutions.
You will collaborate with clinicians, IT teams, and external partners to architect scalable, secure, and standards-based solutions that align with Edera's mission and client goals.
Type of Employment: Full-time role with opportunity for other employment status options.
Work Location/Travel: Ideal applicants are required to work two or three times a week at Edera's DC office, or at client sites in the DC area. Low toModerate percentage of travel required. Applicants should be free from travel restrictions.
Salary: Highly competitive salary/pay, potential for bonus and/or incentives.
There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is highly competitive but dependent upon employment type (1099, contract, W2).
Role Reports to: Hiring Manager
Direct Reports: This role will have no direct reports
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project delivery for Microsoft Dynamics solutions, including Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Finance & Operations (F&O), Business Central (BC), and Power Platform components.
Manage Health IT initiatives leveraging Dynamics for clinical, operational, or administrative workflows, such as patient engagement, scheduling, revenue cycle, case management, and analytics.
Coordinate system integrations between Dynamics and healthcare platforms (EHR systems, interoperability engines, data warehouses, patient portals).
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) to ensure continuous delivery and alignment with business and clinical goals.
Develop project plans, sprint roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria that reflect both technical requirements and healthcare compliance needs.
Collaborate closely with solution architects, Dynamics developers, analysts, clinicians, and operational leaders.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, data privacy) and Microsoft best practices.
Drive stakeholder engagement through workshops, process mapping, demos, UAT coordination, and change management.
Monitor project performance, address risks and dependencies, and communicate updates to leadership.
Oversee system documentation, release planning, training, and post-deployment support.
Technical Skills Required:
Strong proficiency with MS Office 365 skills to include MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
Strong working knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules, configuration, extensions, workflows, and Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
Experience in Health IT, including clinical workflows, interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), security, and healthcare operations.
Hands-on Agile project delivery experience (Scrum or hybrid Agile).
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex multi-system integrations.
Strong communication, requirements-gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred certifications: PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, Azure certifications.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance, cybersecurity, and data governance best practices.
Preferred Attributes
Ability to bridge the gap between clinical, operational, and technical teams.
Experience translating healthcare needs into Dynamics-based solutions.
Comfortable delivering in fast-paced healthcare environments with evolving priorities.
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, user-centric implementations
Education/Certification Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
