PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Financial Analyst 2, in Mesa, AZ. Job ID#216256
Job Description:
As a part of the Government Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA) team, PFAs support the development of the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs support U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale, and Direct Commercial Sale type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, strong presentation and attention to detail skills.
Position Responsibilities:
* Analyze supplier proposals to determine a fair and reasonable price position
* Conduct cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models
* Substantiate cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations
* Cross functional collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
* Develop and improve cost analysis templates and tools
* Ability to travel if needed
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Contracts, Estimating and Pricing, Business Operations, Procurement Financial Analysis
* Proficient skills in utilizing Microsoft Office (for example Excel, Word, Power Point)
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with and/or exposure to supplier related data
* Experience in performing business case or financial analysis
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
