Summary:
• Lead the development and implementation of advanced data engineering solutions.
• Leverage expertise in NiFi, Linux, MySQL, Java, and Splunk for robust data pipeline development.
• Define, map, and model complex data transformation routines, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Document comprehensive data flows and provide critical support for data ingestion processes.
• Apply systems engineering principles to define system interfaces and explore innovative design alternatives.
• Drive development within agile methodologies, utilizing cloud environments and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 20+ years
Salary: $320k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive data engineering solutions.
• Architect and manage data flows and pipelines using NiFi.
• Utilize Linux for system administration and platform management.
• Develop and maintain database solutions, primarily with MySQL and SQL.
• Implement backend services and data processing logic using Java.
• Monitor and analyze system performance and data integrity with Splunk.
• Conduct requirements analysis to define system capabilities and data needs.
• Perform systems engineering tasks, including interface definition and alternative design exploration.
• Apply database engineering principles for optimal data storage and retrieval.
• Practice Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Work with cloud repository and Big Data environments.
• Engage in full-lifecycle software development.
• Ensure robust system security practices are integrated into solutions.
• Administer Linux systems to support data platforms.
• Implement and integrate solutions leveraging Web Services.
