The Maritime System Division (MSD) of Leidos’ is seeking a Materials Requisitioner to support the Long Beach, MS facility in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Description
The Maritime System Division (MSD) of Leidos’ is seeking a Materials Requisitioner to support the Long Beach, MS facility in a growing, fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the fulfillment acquisition process.
- Create purchase requisitions in CostPoint.
- Communicate effectively with DOD industry suppliers and cultivate meaningful relationships.
- Collaborate with product engineering, production planning, purchasing and quality teams for mission success.
- Track supplier on time delivery.
- Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
- Maintain purchasing records and purchasing BOM status.
- Other administrative duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience
- MRP knowledge or experience (Costpoint)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exposure to supply chain and commodity management in DFAR environment.
- Strong customer interface skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Individuals must possess strong characteristics around initiative, attitude, assertiveness and sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) Secret Clearance
Preferred Experience
- DoD or Military contract experience
- Supply chain experience.
- Ability to read mechanical drawing and data sheets
