What you will be doing
As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in ensuring system performance, security compliance, and operational reliability across a variety of environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure systems meet STE/STN security and compliance requirements
  
• Manage user accounts, access controls, and security tools
  
• Configure and maintain Linux/UNIX and Windows systems
  
• Provide IT support and troubleshooting across servers, storage, networks, and mobile devices
  
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues to maintain network integrity
  
• Support system optimization, capacity planning, and automation efforts
  
• Assist users and resolve escalated technical issues
  
• Install and maintain hardware/software and support dispatch systems
  

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years as a System Administrator supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
  
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
  
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Ansible (playbook development and maintenance)
    
  • VMware administration
    
  • AWS (EC2, EFS, S3 fundamentals)
    
  • Automation and scripting
    
  • VMDK creation/deployment
    
  • HP hardware and remote management
    
  • Cross-team collaboration
    
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Pay Range: Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
