We are seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies in a timely and effective manner.

We are seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities
The Network Engineering Team plays a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the client environment. This individual will be responsible for one or more of the following:
- Performing upgrades and performing routine network operations and maintenance (O&M).
- Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
- Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems
- Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP
- Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologies
- Radio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineering
- Optical networking technology and engineering
- Satellite communications engineering
Qualifications
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in network/cloud/virtual environment engineering or a related role.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position.
