Program Analyst

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Program Analyst to support 1st Marine Aircraft Wing in Okinawa, Japan . The analyst will collect aviation and sustainment lessons in OCONUS environments and support joint and combined operations.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect aviation lessons learned from forward-deployed and OCONUS operations
• Support joint and combined operations with allied and partner forces
• Ensure comprehensive lessons learned coverage for deployed forces
• Provide analytical support for forward-based forces operations
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Graduate of Marine Corps Command & Staff College or Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education course. (preferred)
• Valid U.S. passport and ability to obtain necessary status of forces agreements
• Prior military service as Naval Aviator or as a Sr enlisted Marine serving within an Air Wing
• Prior military service in the Marine Corps, with an MOS in one of the following fields 04XX, 05XX, 30XX, 31XX
• Experience serving at the Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) level or above is preferred
• Must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Degree may be substituted for experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with OCONUS operations, forward-deployed forces, and/or joint and combined operations.
• Ability to communicate and interface with Military leaders and commanders at all levels
• Ability to work independently and proactively, build rapport with end users, customers, and unit leaders in order to develop effective working relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced understanding of military tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)
• Strong analytical skills are a must
• Ability to adapt to changing working environments and operational tempos
• Must be able to work on-site in Okinawa, Japan.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work in multinational environments
• Ability to work independently in a forward-deployed environment

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
