Job Description
SRG Adaptive is seeking a Site Lead / Senior Instructor to oversee execution of a Navy training support program focused on Naval Surface Fire Support (NSFS) and Gun Weapon Systems (GWS).
This role serves as the primary interface with the Government and is responsible for contract performance, personnel leadership, and mission delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR
Lead daily contract operations and ensure performance compliance
Manage personnel, training schedules, and resource allocation
Oversee delivery of NSFS and GWS training (classroom + shipboard)
Ensure training aligns with current fleet systems and operational requirements
Drive curriculum execution and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of Navy Basic Instructor Course, MCFISC, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of instructional experience, including curriculum development
Minimum 2 years of NSFS operational or instructional experience
Strong leadership, communication, and program management skills
Experience within Navy training environments and curriculum systems
Prior experience as CG/DDG E-5 to E-8 Non-AEGIS Fire Controlman
Hands-on experience with MK 86 and/or MK 34 Gun Weapon Systems
Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel frequently and support shipboard training environments
Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into executable plans
