Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Deployment Lead to support our client . The Deployment Lead will oversee enterprise - wide deployment planning, coordination, and execution across multiple Services and stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment, readiness, and successful fielding of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities of the Software Deployment Lead include:
· Lead enterprise deployment strategy, sequencing, and prioritization across Services
· Coordinate planning and execution through recurring deployment huddles and integrated sessions
· Integrate deployment activities across Service Deployment Leads to ensure consistency and dependency alignment
· Engage senior government and enterprise stakeholders to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive execution
· Maintain the integrated master schedule and track cross-team dependencies and readiness
· Oversee site readiness, approvals, and technical preparation for deployment events
· Prepare weekly status reports, executive leadership briefs, and program materials
· Identify deployment risks, develop mitigations, and escalate blockers to leadership
· Provide quality assurance and ensure consistent execution across deployment teams
Qualifications for the Software Deployment Lead include:
· 10+ years supporting or leading software deployments, system implementations, or program delivery in complex enterprise or operational environments
· Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end deployments, including planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment
· Experience working with military organizations, defense civilians, or federal programs (strongly preferred)
· Proven ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups (Service, Civilian, Contractor; Technical & Non-Technical; J6/Theater Network Operations)
· Strong program and project management skills managing schedules, dependencies, and competing priorities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including leadership-level briefings
· Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and teams to maintain deployment alignment and execution
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Compensation for the Software Deployment Lead includes:
· Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000 depending on experience
