As a Manager 3, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategy and Strategic Sourcing, you'll be crucial to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position reports to the Multi-Domain Operations Division GSC Programs Senior Director and can be located at any Space Sector Site. Primary locations: Chandler, AZ; Dulles, VA; Gilbert, AZ; Linthicum, MD; and Redondo Beach, CA.
The mission of GSC Strategy and Strategic Sourcing organization is to deliver long-term development of Space System's and MDOD supply chain strategy to fill capability, capacity and affordability gaps and enable our Sector's strategy. Responsibilities include developing the MDOD GSC strategy aligned with the division and sector business and operations strategies as well as the enterprise GSC strategy. This role is responsible for the following areas:

Primary Level Salary Range: $137,800.00 - $239,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

This role is responsible for the following areas:
- Cultivate Strategic Supplier Partnerships through collaboration with BD, Strategy and tier 1/tier 2 suppliers in order to co-create value by partnering on joint initiatives to unlock mutual benefits (Cost, Schedule, Facility Investment, etc.) and increase P-win of MSO/EPW/SPW. Opportunity included to lead MDOD critical captures.
- Leverage supplier investments in key discriminating technologies/advanced processes to optimize Space Sector NCTA investments, enhance resource efficiency, and accelerate development timelines.
- Partner with Functional, Sector GSC, and Division GSC Leaders to: 1) Understand and develop program/Business unit strategies and plans; 2) Collaborate with Supplier Performance Management, Procurement, and Mission Assurance to select, sustain, align, and improve the supply base through a formalized process of assessing capabilities and an exchange of business and technology roadmaps; and 3) Understand risk in the supply base and how to mitigate.
- Partner with GSC Sector to host Sector Supplier Leadership Conference.
- Partner with GSC Sector to maintain Sector Make/Buy Strategy in collaboration with Strategy and Engineering. Align core and strategic competencies, improve process for review cycles including during functional capture review. Responsible for definition of future GSC strategic supply base that leverages sector spend/growth.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 8 + years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related functions - OR - Master's degree with 6 + years of experience
- Experience in a Manager role
- Experience managing managers
- Well versed in FAR, DFARS, and overall government contracting regulatory environment
- Demonstrated supplier or Customer negotiation and management experience
- Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret SCI clearance (US Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
- Possess strong negotiation, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong experience with Teaming Agreements and/or Enterprise Agreements
- MBA or masters in supply chain management or Advance technical degree
- Technical knowledge/understanding of key products and platforms in Space Systems Sector
- Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how they are used to change and manage the business
- Established relationships with Space sector leadership
- Team player at executive level for collaboration across NG
- Strategic Mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated performance leading in an ambiguous environment, matrixed organization
- Active DOD Top Secret SCI security clearance, or higher
