Duties
DUTY 1: Serves as Project Support Specialist and acts as Site Manager responsible for planning, directing, identifying required resources, establishing milestones and goals in support of client requirements/projects.
DUTY 2: Responsible for resource management and security for CDM assessment.
DUTY 3: Serves as the project leader for assigned projects providing guidance, coordination, and direction to assessment teams, engineers, analysts, management, and other support personnel.
DUTY 4: Maintains a continuous liaison with other SAF/CDM staff, service headquarters counterparts, and DoDoffices to integrate priority support actions.

This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of experiments, qualitative, and or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of complex management processes and systems. A high degree of written and verbal communication skills is required to effectively communicate with senior level leadership within DoD. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:Knowledge of advanced concept principles and practices in a variety of disciplines to serve as an expert in the assessment areas to include SOF tactics, techniques and procedures, information technology assessments, communications systems, program and project management, risk managements, planning and budgeting. Knowledge of military program goals and objectives; the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of various entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluations. Knowledge of Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions as related to actual events. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of plans and programs for managing, planning, budgeting and executing intelligence and operations utilizing diverse intelligence support structures and inter-agency cooperation on advanced concepts, principles and practices. Knowledge of various program policies, legislation, executive orders and DoD directives to plan and develop guidance for applying complex procedures, techniques and methods to diverse client situations. Skilled in oral communications to present sensitive information and/or recommendations on complex matters to higher authorities; skilled in written communications sufficient to develop guidance, regulations and directives dealing with complex issues and maintain good working relations.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
