Job Description:
Candidates should be comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply Industrial Engineering concepts to develop operating plans and recovery plans, conduct capacity and constraint-based analysis, develop and refine precedence networks, and conduct overall process effectiveness studies. You will also have opportunities to develop, implement, and improve processes focused on lowering costs and improving schedule performance and quality. Candidates must be able to operate within a multi-functional team, coordinating with various departments.
This position will be 100% onsite at the San Antonio, TX location. Candidate must be a US citizen.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Precedence network and schedule development between production milestones.
• Barge support activities include monthly schedule development and analysis, OPE, data analytics, identifying alternate workable jobs, and critical chain visibility, chit board support
• Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans on weekly/bi-weekly basis. This includes constraint based scheduling, crew cycling..
• Uses engineering methods (e.g., mathematical models, simulations, statistics) to support the development of optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment…) in the creation and validation of operating plan
• Schedules work plans, conducts data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements.
Physical Requirements:
• Able to walk, stand, and enter aircraft via steps or ladders.
• The candidate must be able to go up and down stairs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related STEM field from an ABET accredited university.
• 2-5 years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management.
• 2-5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer in a factory environment.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Planning, engineering drawings and specifications, and lean concepts (certifications preferred).
• Experience with programming languages including but not limited to Python, SAS, VBA, SQL.

• Production Analysis/Operations Research
Education / Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related STEM field from an ABET accredited university.
