Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Secret Clearance Site in Seal Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access concerns involving employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
• Support security-related operations by observing for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or potential hazards, then reporting findings according to post orders and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a current armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
