Key Responsibilities:
• Supplier & Commodity Management: Lead supplier selection, development, and performance to drive cost-effective and efficient operations.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Ensure materials readiness, supplier capacity, and cost targets for successful product launches.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks with strategies like dual sourcing and contingency planning.
• Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align supply capabilities with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
• Logistics & Compliance: Optimize inbound logistics and ensure adherence to global trade regulations.
• Sustainability: Integrate ethical sourcing and ESG requirements into supplier strategies.
• Inventory & Working Capital: Balance cost, availability, and working capital while ensuring inventory control.
• Analytics & Improvement: Use data-driven insights to enhance forecasting, supplier performance, and continuous supply chain improvement.
• Talent & Culture: Build a high-performance team and foster a culture of accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years in materials management, including leadership in supplier development, inventory control, and purchasing functions.
• Skills: Expertise in materials planning, supply chain risk management, ERP/MRP systems, and data analytics. Proven leadership abilities, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
