Job Description
Our client is an award-winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces. They have a need for a FSRM Policy Analyst, in this role you will coordinate and manage enterprise-wide FSRM program documentation, project approvals, and congressional reporting while ensuring compliance with DoD and statutory requirements, supporting stakeholder coordination, and providing data-driven analysis and recommendations to enhance program execution and policy development. This opportunity is hybrid in the Washington D.C. area.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, consolidate, and maintain Operations & Maintenance (O&M) governance and program documentation, including directive publications (DAFIs, DAFMANs, UFCs), policies, procedures, and reports
• Support the drafting, review, and updating of documentation to ensure compliance with statutory authorities, U.S. Code, and Department of Defense guidance while incorporating higher headquarters direction
• Collaborate with Headquarters Air Force, Secretariat offices, and other stakeholders to align policy and program documentation with enterprise requirements
• Develop action plans, task responses, issue resolution strategies, and prepare briefings, reports, meeting materials, and after-action documentation for leadership and stakeholder engagements
• Analyze and provide recommendations to integrate higher-level and external agency requirements with operational inputs into FSRM policy and guidance
• Review, develop, coordinate, and track FSRM project approval packages, including DD Form 1391s, cost estimates, drawings, maps, and compliance documentation
• Support project-level analysis of requirements, execution strategies, and cost alternatives while maintaining visibility into overall program status
• Assist with tasker responses, conduct project reviews, and provide leadership with status updates across individual projects and the broader FSRM portfolio
• Develop, coordinate, and track congressional notification and approval packages in compliance with applicable authorities
• Track and report on enterprise-wide FSRM program execution, perform trend analysis, identify risks, and recommend improvements
• Leverage data analytics and emerging tools (including AI) to enhance program insights, efficiency, and decision-making
• Prepare reports and presentations on high-visibility projects and support program planning and execution across the Department of the Air Force and DoD stakeholders
• Support the development and execution of training related to FSRM policy, planning, programming, and approval processes, and recommend analytical and modeling improvements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in facility and infrastructure requirements, processes, program management and analysis. Preferred experience in Air Force or DoD staff function with the technical ability to perform duties related to facilities engineering and planning and programming
• Able to grasp and competently apply policy for project requirements definition, programming, and execution
• Experience in analyzing the effects of meeting Government requirements with the technical ability to analyze processes through modeling and simulation tools and to employ process improvement reengineering methodologies and principles
Desired Skills:
• Headquarters experience with staffing approval packages for facility requirements.
• Civil Engineer experience in the US Air Force or US Space Force highly desired.
Compensation:
• W2 Hourly rate: $50 - $63. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
