Tria Federal (Tria) is looking for a Managing Consultant (MC) to join our team of dynamic healthcare consulting professionals. MCs provide direct leadership to an assigned team within an organizational structure along with direct project teams. Staff and Project team management is combined with direct client engagement and ownership of those relationships along with strengthening and growth of new relationships. MCs utilize a robust competency model to assist staff with management of their careers, professional development, and achieving individual goals. They also lead project teams, provide clear, concise, and timely feedback on staff performance while developing continuous improvement opportunities for all levels of performers. As part of our leadership team, MCs still engage directly in deliverable development and production while maintaining strategic management of contracts, resources, and clients.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as a consultant preferably in a federal consulting environment required.
  • At least 8 years of payer and provider healthcare experience, leading multiple projects and programs demonstrating continued growth in responsibilities through successful outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge and a working understanding of business processes and/or operations within the healthcare industry (commercial or federal).
  • Experience applying project management methodologies consistent with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines and principles.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of healthcare operations and administration, medical economics and data analysis, program management, and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of healthcare accounts receivable management, financial performance metrics, and enterprise healthcare business strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analysis and deliver insights across diverse enterprise architectures and complex healthcare business environments.
  • Experience producing documentation related to healthcare revenue domains, data definitions, and associated metadata.
  • Demonstrated experience performing complex business analysis, data mining, evaluation of operational performance metrics, and development of actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and presenting medical economic analyses to healthcare executives with in-depth understanding of pivotal data points, trends, and forecast.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverables in tight time frames.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office mastery (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Qualifications:
  • Successful experience creating professional, executive level products using Microsoft tools.
  • Successful experience with professional virtual presentations.
  • Successful experience in directly supporting healthcare leaders accomplish their strategic and professional goals.
  • Expert-level ability to provide unique insights through advanced business analysis using end-user analytical tools and healthcare datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting healthcare econometric analysis and applying analytical methods to support healthcare operational and financial decision making.
  • Ability to define concepts, interpret results, and provide recommendations aligned with healthcare industry best practices.
  • Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field ideal.

Responsibilities:
  • Project management support and leadership of federal consulting engagements.
  • Managing project tasks, ensuring quality assurance and data validity, supporting project plans, and providing resource estimates to ensure deliverables and timelines are met, including frequent ad hoc requests.
  • Conduct advanced healthcare business, financial, and econometric analyses to evaluate revenue-cycle performance, operational efficiency, and enterprise healthcare strategies.
  • Develop analytical models, reports, and documentation that support healthcare revenue management, business process optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Preparing and presenting project deliverables and findings to senior project stakeholders and practice area leadership as required, through the use of graphs, tables, and other strategic information to summarize analyses and results.
  • Contributing to an innovative and team-oriented work environment with individual accountability and ownership to the success of the practice.
  • Committing to knowledge development and continuing to educate and share knowledge with clients and tam members.
  • Building collaborative methods to develop and share internal reports with peers. Developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients across multiple agencies and internal leadership.
  • Managing expectations of service delivery and direct staff to accomplish deadlines across business service areas.
  • Developing accurate project plans and resources estimates, monitoring and tracking project execution and ensuring budgets and timelines are met.
  • Presenting project deliverables and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fostering an innovative and team-oriented work environment with individual accountability and ownership to the success of the practice.
  • Committing to knowledge development, continuing to educate and share knowledge with clients and team members.
  • Drive business development and growth initiatives by cultivating client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and supporting proposal development, capture strategies, and expansion of healthcare consulting services across federal agencies.
