Seneca Holdings is currently looking to add an Internal Communications Coordinator to our Marketing and Communications team. The Internal Communications Coordinator will support the department's initiatives with the planning, coordination, and tracking of internal communications tools and programs, including events, and social media. This position is flexible with working out of our Allegany office and working remotely.

Responsibilities for Internal Communications Coordinator
  • Support the internal communications function's initiatives with the planning, coordination, and developing content for the intranet, email announcements, podcasts, and event s communications.
  • Strong writing and graphics skills to develop and produce content for all internal communication vehicles.
  • Assist with developing and coordinating internal communications efforts for related projects cross functionally.
  • Manage and maintain the company SharePoint intranet, ensuring timely, engaging, and accurate internal communications content; oversee site governance, information architecture, and user experience to support employee engagement and alignment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Internal Communications Coordinator
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva and capable of creating visually compelling presentations
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must have a high level of creativity
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field a plus
