- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable transactions, ensuring strict compliance with all applicable regulations, including the Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Receive, review, and verify invoices, vouchers and supporting documents for accuracy against corresponding purchase orders or contracts.
- Schedule and execute prompt payments to vendors through checks, electronic transfers, or automated systems.
- Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and identify and resolve any discrepancies and ensure timely resolution and address vendor inquiries about payments.
- Prepare and inputs journal vouchers into the financial management system to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions within the general ledger.
- Conducts detailed monitoring and reconciliation of accounts, comparing data between disparate sources and reports to proactively identify and perform in-depth analyses of adjustments.
- Determines pay, process payroll changes, and complete related reports for civilian employees adhering strictly to Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCPS) and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) guidelines.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- This position requires Financial Management Level 1 certification
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
