Systems Safety Engineer (DoD Secret Clearance Required)

Seeking a REMOTE Systems Safety Engineer, with current DoD Secret Clearance. The client is willing to entertain early career with experience. Position is looking to be temp to perm if the interested candidate is local or willing to relocate to NJ or NY.
Responsibilities:
• Conducts engineering and technical analyses.
• Documents findings for safety and investigative reports.
• Reviews problem reports for safety impact.
• Performs SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.
• Support customer facing meetings and SSTRP.
Qualifications:
• US Citizens ONLY permitted to apply.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance to be considered.
• Must have experience in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.
• Proven history identifying hazards at both the functional and component levels (FHA/SSHAR).
• Experience documenting these hazards, track mitigation steps, and maintain records (HTS).
• Able to compile all findings into a final safety assessment for project approval (SAR).
