The organization seeks a Cost Analyst to support Army program offices with lifecycle cost estimating. The role will develop and evaluate LCCEs, POEs, and IGCEs using ACEIT, partner with subject matter experts, and assess cost impacts across development through production. The position will mentor junior staff, coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative, and prepare analyses that meet Army and DoD review standards.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities:
- Perform cost analysis in support of program life cycle cost estimates and program office estimates.
- Develop or evaluate cost assessments and positions for systems development, demonstration, and production approaches.
- Assess cost impacts on systems and programs, including prototype system analyses.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop independent Government cost estimates that withstand Army and DoD review.
- Serve as working leader, providing technical guidance and mentoring to lower-grade personnel.
- Review and ensure quality and accuracy of work products from junior team members.
- Coordinate work efforts with the Contracting Officer Representative.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum six years preparing and updating cost estimates using ACEIT.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant experience supporting a DoD PEO, O6 Project Manager, or O5 Product Manager.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience with DoD 5000.02 (preferred).
Education Requirements:
- BA or BS in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Active secret clearance required.
