Job Description:
In this role you will:
The Project Management specialist will lead project execution for the 737 Payloads team. You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to build and maintain an integrated project plan. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic team. Our Payloads organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and a lot that you don't: The Interior of the airplane, along with the Lavatories, Galleys, Cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We enable our airline customers to fulfil their mission and represent their brand.
* Manage the preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
* Lead planning and execution of certification milestones, maintaining master project schedules and tracking critical-path activities.
* Maintain and analyze project schedules and metrics; produce clear, actionable status reports and dashboards.
* Perform risk assessments and develop documented risk handling and recovery plans.
* Create and provide reports on performance variances, project status, and change information to project team and leadership.
* Communicate plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.
* Manage the development and implementation of improvement processes, tools, and keep an eye on emerging technology concepts to enhance efficiency and innovation
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting aircraft interiors, systems integration, or related aerospace programs.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules, performing risk assessments, and managing change control.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with 737 program or other commercial aircraft certification/production environments.
Familiarity with scheduling and PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira) and data visualization/reporting tools.
Experience with integration on complex aerospace programs.
