Primary Function
The Logistics & Compliance Coordinator supports warehouse logistics operations while ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance across supply chain activities at Rock Island Arsenal. This position provides oversight of inventory accountability, warehouse compliance practices, and environmental program integration in accordance with DoD, federal, and contract requirements.
The role bridges logistics operations and environmental compliance by supporting property accountability, audit readiness, and environmental stewardship initiatives. This position will operate under the guidance of the Logistics & Supply Manager and Safety/Environmental leadership, while exercising independent judgment in coordinating compliance-related activities.
Essential Duties
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibility; however, may provide functional guidance, training, and compliance oversight to warehouse personnel, as well as support team adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Essential Duties
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory control, accountability, and reporting within warehouse operations
- Coordinate logistics activities including receiving, storage, distribution, and shipment tracking]
- Ensure compliance with DoD property management regulations, environmental policies, and contract requirements
- Monitor and enforce environmental compliance within warehouse operations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials
- Assist in development, implementation, and enforcement of warehouse SOPs and compliance procedures
- Conduct internal inspections, audits, and inventory reconciliations; identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Analyze logistics and compliance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support Government audits, inspections, and data calls related to logistics and environmental programs
- Maintain documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance, including hazardous material tracking and environmental records
- Coordinate with Safety/Environmental team to ensure alignment with environmental compliance programs
- Serve in a developmental role as backup to Playground Inspector upon successful completion of required testing and certifications
- Assist with training personnel on compliance procedures, inventory systems, and environmental requirements
- Support ERP/IMS systems (SAP, DPAS, GOLDesp) including reporting, data accuracy, and system compliance
- Provide recommendations to improve warehouse efficiency, compliance posture, and operational effectiveness
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality assurance, and environmental policies
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management systems
- Working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations and hazardous material handling
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations
- Knowledge of DoD property accountability and supply chain processes preferred
- Familiarity with ERP/IMS systems such as Limble
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and contract requirements
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally between logistics and environmental teams
- Strong attention to detail and compliance-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or related field
- Experience with inventory management systems and property accountability
- Experience with or exposure to environmental compliance or hazardous materials handling preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD NACI and/or security clearance as required
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Valid driver's license
