Junior Contract Administrator
Full Time | Remote | Eligible for Government Security Clearance (Required)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Contract Administrator to support the management and administration of defense-related contracts. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in government contracting within the defense sector.
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements associated with defense projects and government clients as well as
Key Responsibilities
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements related to federal, state, and local government opportunities.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and administering defense contracts and subcontracts
• Support contract lifecycle management from proposal through close-out
• Maintain contract documentation, records, and correspondence
• Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and compliance requirements
• Track key milestones, reporting obligations, and payment schedules
• Support audits and compliance reviews
• Assist with change management, contract modifications, and amendments
• Coordinate with project managers, finance, legal, and procurement teams
• Ensure adherence to applicable regulations (e.g., government acquisition frameworks)
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
• 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, legal support, or related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SharePoint
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
Preferred:
• Familiarity with government contracting frameworks (e.g., FAR/DFARS/GSA)
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems (UNANET)
• Experience supporting defense or cybersecurity programs
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in defense environments
