Job Summary: Manufacturing Industrial Engineer Level 3 (Onsite, San Antonio, TX)
About the Role
Indotronix is seeking a driven Manufacturing Industrial Engineer Level 3 to join our team onsite in San Antonio, TX. As a critical contributor to our manufacturing operations, you will leverage your technical expertise to develop, analyze, and optimize production plans. This hands-on position offers exposure to advanced production systems and direct impact on operational efficiency, making it an ideal role for industrial engineers eager to grow their careers within a dynamic, high-performing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage precedence networks and detailed schedules to align with production milestones
- Lead monthly barge support, including schedule analysis, data analytics, OPE, and critical chain visibility
- Create and maintain operating and recovery plans on weekly/bi-weekly cycles, utilizing constraint-based scheduling and crew cycling
- Apply mathematical modeling, simulation, and statistical methods to design optimal processes and resource utilization
- Conduct historical and trend data analysis to inform staffing, scheduling, and process improvements
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support manufacturing planning and operational enhancements
- Ensure regular, predictable onsite attendance and adapt to variable shift assignments as required
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM field from an ABET-accredited institution
- 2-5 years' experience in project planning, scheduling, and project management within a factory/manufacturing environment
- Background as an Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer in manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with manufacturing planning, lean manufacturing concepts, and engineering drawings/specifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, and SQL
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance (post start)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Aurora and IVT/Redars software
- Skills in production analysis/operations research
- Lean certification
