About The Role
Join a mission-driven team ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate GEOINT across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. As an Expert-Level Test Systems Engineer, you will lead testing strategy and execution across complex, large-scale systems while mentoring engineers and driving quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Location: This position is fully onsite with work locations in either Chantilly or Springfield, VA

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level Systems Engineers in test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments.
- Oversee testing of applications and APIs within DevOps pipelines, ensuring alignment with government standards and industry best practices.
- Direct independent integration testing of system software and hardware to validate compliance with specified requirements.
- Plan and execute both manual tests and automated test scripts using appropriate scripting and programming languages.
- Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for defects identified during testing activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
- Substitutions: 4 additional years of experience may replace a STEM degree, or 2 additional years with a non-STEM degree
- 18+ years of systems integration experience within government or industry, supporting large, complex Systems of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments across cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps development methodologies and associated testing strategies
- Working knowledge of modern software development frameworks
- Prior experience supporting IC or DoD programs/projects
- Experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
- Master's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
