HX5 is seeking a Test Project Manager to join the TMAS team at Eglin AFB for the 96 TW (Test Wing). The 96TW is the T&E center for Air Force air-delivered weapons, navigation and guidance systems, Command and Control systems, and Air Force Special Operations Command systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact responsible for supporting the overall planning, coordination, and continuous management of the test/training project from the initial customer contact to final project closeout within a testing squadron for modified C-130s.
  • Prepare detailed test customer agreements that include cost and schedule estimates based on available test requirements, technical objectives, and risk assessments identified during initial planning.
  • Establish the project's performance measurement baseline (PMB) to accurately reflect the customer agreement to assess project performance throughout the project's lifecycle and monitor execution variances to take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Provide oversight to project execution for the duration of the project, ensuring scope of the customer agreement is maintained in accordance with planned project cost, schedule and technical performance.
  • Prepare communications to senior leadership regarding test project statuses.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience.
  • Must be able to perform all functional duties independently
  • Be a self-motivated expert able to take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, and executing necessary tasks for the successful accomplishment of assigned duties
  • Must be able to work as part of an integrated test team
  • Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skill
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferences:
  • Expertise with US Air Force test and evaluation methodologies and processes
  • Experience with military fixed-wing aircraft

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This full-time position requires 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to travel as necessary.
