Position Description:
The System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator shall assist in the day-to-day support-request flow, and operations and support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer software services.
The SCCM Administrator is expected to be adaptable to the needs of their assigned support group, providing customer-focused services to meet the customer needs for endpoint security and functionality. They may be required to learn new skills, conduct research, and perform new tasks regularly.
The SCCM Administrator will be expected to work on other project-based assignments.
Project-Based Responsibilities:
• Network Infrastructure Function and Optimization - Daily Administration
o Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Office 365: NIPRNET and SIPRNET
• Software & Hardware Implementation
o Planning, testing, and troubleshooting software or hardware solutions.
• IT Process Automation:
o Mitigate vulnerabilities of end-user software program
o Developing and optimizing automation solutions to improve system efficiency
• Cybersecurity Initiatives:
o Integration of cybersecurity requirements
This includes the administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Endpoint Patch Management, Third Party Software Packaging, Use of Third-Party software distribution tools, and MECM Client health. This support will include the support of objects in Microsoft Office 365 and any future office or Third-Party software solutions used by the customer and its functionality on the customers’ Microsoft Endpoints, both NIPRNET and SIPRNET. The Windows SCCM Administrator will provide Tier 3 issue resolution for end users and Tier 1 and 2 teams. The SCCM Administrator is expected to be adaptable to the needs of the support group, which will require learning new skills and performing new tasks regularly, and may be required to work longer hours on given days and/or weekends or remain on-call for after-hour support depending on operational needs and contingencies.
Minimum Experience Level:
• Three (3) years of progressive experience in the requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of IT systems and networks, with specific experience in the administration of environments using Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Experience shall include at least five (5) projects in technical areas. At least one project must have occurred in the past three (3) years.
Required Skills/Certifications
• Must possess Cyber Security Baseline certification, IAT level II (Secuirty + or CISSP) requirements at the time of employment
• Must possess required Computing Environment Certification, one of the following: GWIN, MCSE: WS2012/ WS2016 or newer, MCSA: WS2012/WS2016 or newer, M365, or MS Azure Administrator Associate (or higher level)
Desired Skills
• Documented four (4) years’ experience with SCCM or MECM administration occurring within the past three years
• Documented at least five (5) years of experience with scripting automation using PowerShell or VBScript
• Combined five (5) years’ experience with Windows 10/11 OS, Servier 2016 (or newer) deployments occurring within the past two years
• At least two (2) years’ experience with MS 2016 or MS 2019 or newer occurring within the past two years
• At least two (2) years’ experience with SQL 2016 or newer occurring within the past two years
• Documented two (2) years’ experience with InTune
• Documented two (2) years’ experience reviewing Nessus Vulnerability Reports

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
