Role Overview
TEKsystems is seeking an RF Engineer to support the development, design, and testing of advanced RF and electronic systems. This is a fully onsite engineering role in Point Mugu, California, working in a hands‑on lab, chamber, and flight‑test environment.
Key Responsibilities (Simplified & Civilian‑Friendly)
Translate operational requirements into RF system designs.
Support RF hardware development, prototyping, and performance testing.
Evaluate and select RF components (COTS and vendor hardware).
Conduct antenna analysis and integrate antennas onto aircraft platforms.
Build and troubleshoot RF bench setups and participate in chamber/flight tests.
Ensure EMI/EMC compliance using established engineering standards.
Produce technical documentation including requirements, block diagrams, and test procedures.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams in a structured, process‑driven environment.
Assist with system architecture (power, RF, functional diagrams).
Review thermal, safety, and reliability analyses.
Perform data analysis, performance assessments, and integration support across hardware, software, and firmware.
