Network Administrator – Secret Clearance | Fort Belvoir, VA
Leidos is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support a major DoD program at Fort Belvoir, VA, with a secondary location in Reston, VA. This role supports enterprise-wide IT operations, focusing on network evaluation, modernization, and ITIL-driven service delivery.
Responsibilities
Evaluate network components and provide architecture recommendations
Monitor, modify, and evaluate Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, and Juniper systems
Support incident/problem management and change management
Ensure configuration, STIG compliance, and SLA adherence
Work across five networks in a high-security environment
Required Skills
Active DoD Secret Clearance
8–12 years’ experience (or 6–10 with a Master’s)
Experience with OSI Layers 1–4
SecureCRT, STIGViewer, Evaluate STIG
Strong communication and documentation skills
Required Certifications
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE preferred)
CCNA, F5 Certified Administrator, or Palo Alto PCNSA
Nice to Have
TS/SCI clearance
CCNP, F5-CSE, PCSFE
Experience with OSI Layers 6–7 for NGFW and load balancers
