Secret Cleared Lead Test Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared Lead Test Engineer to join a premier federal contracting company based out of San Diego, CA. The Secret Cleared Lead Test Engineeris responsible for leading the qualification, validation, and full lifecycle systems-level test strategy for complex, software-defined tactical electronic systems.

Responsibilities of the Secret Cleared Lead Test Engineer include:

• Lead system-level qualification and validation of complex electronic systems integrating software, firmware, and hardware.
• Develop and execute system-level test strategies to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and mission-critical standards.
• Perform end-to-end systems engineering activities, including requirements refinement, interface management, documentation, and support to major design reviews (PDR/CDR).
• Support development, integration, and evaluation of hardware, software, and support equipment across the full lifecycle of tactical or R&D programs.

Qualifications for the Secret Cleared Lead Test Engineer:

• 8+ years of experience in system-level testing of electronic systems with embedded software and firmware
• Experience executing RF, tactical or electro-optical system programs from concept development and program full cycle delivery
• Experience with Cameo MBSE or additional MBSE tooling experience is highly preferred
• Active secret clearance is required

Compensation for the Secret Cleared Lead Test Engineer :

• Pay Rate: $150,000 - $175,000 *depending on experience and education*
