Description:This position is a part of the Production, Planning and Control organization as a leader managing the internal Make Planning and Material Handling teams within multiple production programs on site. This position will also be the deputy to the Senior Production, Planning and Control Manager.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Manager, you will be responsible for leading the internal Make Planning and Material Handling teams, overseeing manufacturing planning, production support, and material handling and distribution to the production floor. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement and managing a team of approximately 20-30 reports.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Typical minimum of 8+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
Extensive working knowledge of Material Resource Planning, production scheduling, material flow principles, and shop floor control.
Previous experience leading a multi-shift team.
Experience with SAP or MRP equivalent, specifically in the areas of Materials Management and Production Planning.
Demonstrated ability and experience communicating with multiple levels of leadership, customers and peers across different functional areas effectively on multiple platforms.
Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions.
Experience with presenting data to multifunctional audiences to include leadership, peers, and customers.
Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Production Operations.
Experience using SAP and Apriso Warehouse Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
Experience and understanding of establishing performance metrics commensurate with role.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Production Planning and Control experience.
