Product Review Engineer 4 - Red Oak, TX (Contract, Onsite)
About the Role
Indotronix seeks an experienced Product Review Engineer 4 to serve as a technical lead for the T-7A Program at Qarbon Aerospace in Red Oak, TX. As a recognized expert, you will drive product and process improvements, lead root cause analysis, resolve complex non-conformances, and ensure compliance with engineering standards throughout the product lifecycle. This is a 12-month onsite contract position with an initial 6-month MRB training period in St. Louis, MO, offering significant exposure and career development within aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary T-7A Program representative at Qarbon Aerospace, ensuring alignment with client engineering practices
- Lead and resolve complex product/process issues, driving interim and final engineering solutions
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop technical dispositions for design non-conformances
- Implement innovative solutions to address nonconforming conditions and detect deviations
- Oversee research into technical, operational, and quality issues, ensuring timely, safe resolution
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews as a subject matter expert
- Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with client standards
- Develop technical training for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead on-site repair and accident investigation teams, design interim structural repairs, and conduct static strength analyses
- Develop and oversee non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
- 10+ years of industry experience with proven MRB Engineering expertise
- Strong background in Boeing design and engineering principles
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical problems independently
- Recognized subject matter expert in product review engineering
- Eligible to obtain "Secret" security clearance
- Willingness to travel and complete initial MRB training in St. Louis, MO
Preferred Skills
- Prior MRB Authority as Liaison Engineer, especially on the shop floor at Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in St. Louis, MO
- MRB Authority at other BDS or Boeing facilities
- MRB experience at other aerospace OEMs or manufacturing environments
- Expertise in non-destructive test procedures
