- Obtaining, verifying, and maintaining quotes, lead times, and procurement records for all hardware, software, materials, and system components required to support fielding and sustainment operations
- Tracking and receiving all government- and contractor-provided materials and equipment into approved inventory management systems, such as CMPRO and stand-alone inventory databases, ensuring accurate entry of all configuration and status data
- Monitoring material quantities, assessing program requirements, and coordinating timely acquisition of equipment to guarantee continuity of mission support and minimize risk of shortages or delays
- Producing scheduled and ad hoc logistics, inventory, and configuration management reports to support government data calls and program oversight, including detailed records of fielded assets, configuration baselines, and IUID-tagged equipment
- Providing full-spectrum life cycle logistical support to all supported systems, encompassing material acquisition, kitting, shipping and receiving, stock list (SL-3) development, configuration management, technical documentation maintenance, and equipment audit coordination
- Ensuring rigorous inventory accuracy by updating shipping, receiving, and serial/unique identification information for new deliveries, returned items, and repaired equipment in all required databases and records
- Assisting in validating and updating technical documentation libraries, ensuring all technical manuals, modification instructions, and supply catalogs remain current and reflect the as-configured state of supported systems
- Participating in periodic configuration audits, fielding events, and on-site training support, coordinating logistics-related activities for system deployments and NET at designated USMC installations
- Liaising effectively with vendors, engineering, training, and field teams to communicate procurement timelines, resoling technical or logistical discrepancies, and providing succinct status updates as requested by government or program leadership
- Supporting the preparation and submission of procurement packages, engineering change proposals, and IT system registration documentation (e.g., DITPR submissions) in compliance with sponsor and DoD requirements
- Contributing to the development, validation, and maintenance of kitting inventories, engineering data for provisioning, and IUID/RFID asset tracking to ensure ongoing accountability and traceability for all program-controlled assets

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Seven years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of logistics management principles, practices, and processes
- At least four years of direct support with C4ISR or similar systems
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
- Extensive, hands-on experience with CMPRO configuration management software for asset management, documentation, and tracking
- Proven ability to serve as FIAR POC and manage inventory records in compliance with FIAR requirements
- Advanced proficiency in documentation management, configuration management, material movement and tracking, warranty status tracking, EOL tracking, and DMSMS monitoring
- Demonstrated supervisory experience, including leading and mentoring logistics personnel and managing logistics operations teams
- Strong analytical skill in reviewing and interpreting engineering/systems management data, contracts, and system design specifications
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite and logistics/inventory databases; detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to communicate effectively with vendors, engineering teams, and government clients
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing program requirements and provide timely, accurate updates and reporting as needed
Desired Skills
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree
- 10 years with a Master's degree, or fourteen 14 years with a Bachelor's degree, of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems
- At least six years of direct logistics support for C4ISR or comparable defense electronic systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in documentation, inventory, and compliance reporting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proven ability to interact professionally with government customers, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor logistics personnel and support team development
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, including risk management, procurement, and vendor coordination
- Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining technical logistics documentation such as TMs, provisioning documents, and configuration records
- Expertise in data analysis and reporting, including interpreting complex engineering and lifecycle logistics data to inform decision-making and mitigate risks
- Advanced proficiency with CMPRO and other configuration management and inventory systems
- Prior experience supporting C4ISR programs or similar complex defense electronic systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic mission requirements and evolving priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated initiative when addressing unique logistics, DMSMS, or EOL challenges
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with database management best practices
- Motivated to participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organizational process optimization
