Job Description

Markon is seeking an experienced GEOINT Systems Integrator to support a high-performing team with one of our Intelligence Community customers. This position requires a strong Systems Engineering foundation, the ability to operate at a very rapid pace, and a deep domain knowledge of adversary ground-based weapons systems, including but not limited to integrated air defense systems (IADS), ballistic missile systems, armored platforms (tanks), and supporting logistics infrastructure (trucks, rail, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA)
  • Facilitate integration- and test-focused Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) and frequently brief recommendations to senior Government representatives
  • Review Agile Solution Epics to ensure interfaces are well defined, CONOPS is fully represented, and data definitions and dependencies are documented to enable development and integration
  • Analyze Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), assessing required modifications and enhancements for future GEOINT missions
  • Evaluate GEOINT data and metadata exchanges across software systems to enable end-to-end data collection and processing
  • Optimize early integration of GEOINT software systems, increase test automation, and share best practices across multiple end-to-end sensor teams
  • Define and lead Informal Integration Windows (IIWs)
  • Participate in Developer TEMs, Solution Planning Events, Solution Demos, and end-to-end sensor working groups
  • Ensure accuracy and readiness for enterprise tests by reviewing and providing comments on detailed test plans and checklists
  • Collaborate with mission partners (MP) to ensure end-to-end capabilities are integrated early prior to joint formal test and transition events
  • Ensure readiness for transition to operations, support rapid resolution of operational discrepancies, and analyze root causes of outages to reduce future issues
  • Advise Government on structuring and maturing Verification Test and Systems Integration (VTSI) capabilities


Qualifications

Required:
  • 12-15 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years may be substituted with a Master's degree
  • 4 years may be substituted with a PhD
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (must be able to maintain)
  • Deep understanding of adversary ground-based weapons systems, including IADS, ballistic missile systems, armored and logistics platforms, and how they are represented, tracked, and analyzed within GEOINT workflows
  • Experience supporting informal and formal enterprise testing of GEOINT software systems
  • Strong knowledge of GEOINT systems, CONOPS, and metadata
  • Experience with SETA and/or SEIT execution
  • Experience with requirements tracing, architecture and interface analysis, and data/messaging exchanges across distributed systems
  • Familiarity with SAFe or Agile development frameworks
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with rapidly evolving priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable products
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of Government

Desired:
  • Military experience with these technologies/systems is highly desired
  • Experience with RADAR and EO systems
  • Experience with GEOINT product quality evaluation
  • Experience leading early interface testing and Informal Integration Windows (IIWs)
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA)


Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
