Job Description

Position Title: Senior Medical Instructor / MSTC Site Lead

Division: Advancia Government Services

Location: Remote

*This position is contingent upon award of contract

Position Summary

The Senior Medical Instructor/Site Lead provides full operational leadership and oversight of MSTC training activities. This role integrates supervision of personnel, execution of training operations, scenario oversight, quality control, equipment readiness, and coordination with Government stakeholders. The Site Lead ensures all contract requirements are met, all training is executed to standard, and all personnel and systems remain fully mission capable. Position contingent on contract award

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee execution of all MSTC training operations and instructional activities
  • Ensure training is conducted in accordance with approved POIs and medical training standards
  • Supervise and manage all Medical Instructor/Operators (I/Os)
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and continuity of operations across all training events
  • Manage staffing gaps and ensure vacancies are filled within required timelines
  • Coordinate and manage surge support requirements and increased training tempo
  • Ensure personnel maintain required certifications, qualifications, and readiness
  • Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of all training events and exercises
  • Validate and approve training scenarios, materials, and instructional methods
  • Ensure integration of simulation systems into all training events
  • Oversee support to unit-led training within MSTC facilities
  • Monitor and enforce training performance parameters and standards
  • Oversee student evaluation processes and ensure accuracy of performance assessments
  • Review and validate After Action Reviews (AARs) and training outcomes
  • Implement and manage Quality Control Plan (QCP) and quality assurance processes
  • Develop, track, and resolve corrective action plans
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) requirements
  • Monitor and report training effectiveness and performance metrics
  • Ensure readiness and operational availability of all TADSS and simulation systems
  • Oversee execution of operator-level maintenance (PMCS)
  • Coordinate with maintenance contractors and manage Associate Contractor Agreements (ACAs)
  • Track equipment status, maintenance issues, and system availability
  • Oversee management of training materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure availability of instructional materials and training resources
  • Coordinate MSTC facility usage and scheduling
  • Serve as primary interface with Government MSTC leadership and stakeholders
  • Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs)
  • Support contract reporting, deliverables, and documentation requirements
  • Support Phase-In and Phase-Out activities and transition requirements
  • Respond to Government Requests for Information (RFIs) and tasking
  • Ensure compliance with financial, administrative, and contract management requirements at the site level
  • Support tracking of labor, resources, and performance against contract requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and hazard mitigation requirements
  • Ensure proper handling and compliance with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) policies
  • Enforce security requirements, including personnel access, identification, and facility controls
  • Ensure personnel are completing required cybersecurity, AT, OPSEC, and other mandatory training
  • Manage compliance with Force Protection Conditions (FPCON) and operational impacts
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Army regulations and directives
  • Oversee OCONUS operations, including SOFA compliance and host nation requirements
  • Coordinate travel, TDY, and logistical support requirements
  • Maintain professional standards, leadership, and customer satisfaction


Education & Experience Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Military medical training background (68W or equivalent) required
  • Preferred:
    o Advanced certification (Paramedic, RN, PA, or similar)
    o Leadership experience in training, simulations, or MSTC environments


Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands
  • Some walking and standing required. You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds.
  • Most of the work is performed in-doors
  • Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time
  • Requires standing for periodically
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend
