This position is in the Supervisory/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience would be demonstrated by years of experience in operational cyber campaign planning; experience analyzing unique cyber problems; managing requirements for new and existing cyber capabilities; provide technical direction and managing recruitment addressing grievances, and facilitating employee development and training; evaluating and monitoring both operational and strategic cyber planning; and identify gaps in existing policies and methods and develop new techniques for cyberspace operations.

- Provides expert guidance and oversight by strategically leading and implementing cyberspace initiatives
- Manage capability and personnel requirements by providing second-level supervision for J35personnel, adhering to OPM guidance to ensure effective and equitable workforce management.
- Provides expert and authoritative advice, counsel, instruction and decisions on both technical and administrative matters to employees.
- Evaluating program effectiveness, soliciting input from partners across the DoD and interagency, advising leadership on resource allocation
- Ensure the Command has the tools and resources necessary to effectively conduct full-spectrum cyber operations.
- Require anticipating opposition and articulating mutual benefits to resolve conflicting objectives

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.
- Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA.
- Incumbent may be required to travel approximately 10% of the time and may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- Incumbent may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
- This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
