Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Engineer Production Hardware - TUCSON, AZ

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in electronic system testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing support.

This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Required Skills:
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Experience with Digital, Analog, RF, and/or Mixed Signal testing and debugging of complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems
• Experience in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
• Proven experience in manufacturing and test support of electronic assemblies
• Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)

Desired Skill Sets:
• Prior production support engineering experience with Raytheon or similar organizations
• Experience in electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems, including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical testing, and production/supplier support
• Experience with test equipment, test automation scripting, and test execution
• Knowledge of sensor control systems, PCB fabrication, and circuit card assembly processes, along with relevant industry standards
• Experience with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST (Computer Simulation Technologies), Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
• Experience in subsystem integration and testing, post-test/flight data analysis, and problem investigation
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods for improving production yield
• Strong technical writing and formal presentation skills
• Experience implementing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)

Pay Range: $70.00 - $ 80.00 per hour.
