Front End/UX Developer
Required Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Location: Chantilly, VA
Signature Federal Systems is seeking a strong, mid-level Front End/UX/UI Developer to support the Webmaster’s office.
Required:
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing high-quality frontend websites using HTML and CSS
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front-end best practices in secure government environments
• Experience developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Knowledge of human-centered design methodology or design thinking principles
• Bachelor's degree in UX, Design, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience working as a front-end developer, web designer, UX designer, or related field in lieu of degree
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and collaboratively with a team
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• UX/UI, Accessibility, or Front-End Development Certifications
• Experience developing and/or managing websites using a CMS, such as Joomla!
• Ability to show a portfolio or share links to project examples showcasing design expertise
