Summary:
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of distributed application orchestration logic.
• Drive the development of reusable Helm charts, GitOps templates, and advanced deployment strategies.
• Build sophisticated system-aware controllers and agents to automate the application lifecycle.
• Contribute significantly to platform architecture decisions and strategic direction.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and ensure code quality through rigorous reviews.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and platform engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.

Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 20+ years
Salary: $303k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, implement, and continuously improve distributed application orchestration logic for complex systems.
• Lead the full development lifecycle for reusable Helm charts, GitOps templates, and cutting-edge deployment strategies.
• Develop and deploy system-aware controllers or agents to achieve end-to-end application lifecycle automation.
• Actively participate in and influence critical platform architecture discussions and decisions.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering skill development and best practices.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional DevOps and platform engineering teams to integrate solutions seamlessly.
• Utilize expert-level proficiency in Go and Python for core development tasks and software development.
• Apply deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, and Git for container orchestration and version control.
• Leverage extensive experience with Kafka for distributed streaming platforms.
• Employ Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
• Demonstrate strong capabilities in software architecture, technical team leadership, and DevOps practices.
