In this role you will:
Provide Estimating / Proposal leadership for Missile Defense Programs and Strategic Reentry Programs. Advisor to Program Management, FBO, and Senior Estimating Leadership on Government issues specifically related to the FAR and DFAR. Coordinates and consults with ICE and Central Estimating as appropriate. Plays a key role in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin through capturing follow-on and new business as well as developing leaders within the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree from an accredited college
- 8 years or more of professional experience in the estimating profession or any finance professions
- Ability to work with the FAR and DFARS.
- Ability to coordination DCAA and DCMA activities including audits.
- Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Collaboration-minded and strong leader with an in depth understanding of estimating processes and tools, government contracting, FAR and DFARs, experience managing direct reports.
- Ability to manage a staff and prioritize workload between the different programs, and between three sites.
- Able to work in a very dynamic high-pressure environment with a diversity of products and programs. Excellent communication skills. Ability to travel 4-8 weeks per year.
- 12 years or more of professional experience in the estimating profession
- Proficient working with the FAR and DFARS. Experienced coordinating DCAA and DCMA activities including audits.
- Top Secret clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
