Senior Network Engineer

Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Quantico, VA . The position requires an active Top Secret clearance.

The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and support network infrastructure for collection systems, including LAN, WAN, and VoIP environments. This role requires advanced expertise in routers, multilayer switches, network security devices, and network management systems, along with a strong understanding of ELSUR principles and legal requirements.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle network engineeringu2014requirements analysis, configuration, testing, integration, installation, and maintenanceu2014while ensuring secure and reliable operations. The engineer will also evaluate and implement emerging networking and security technologies to enhance capabilities and support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance/SCI Eligibility; This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  
• 10 years related network design/administration experience with 4 or more years of experience specifically supporting law enforcement digital collection system.
  
• Ability to design, administer, and maintain LAN/WAN environments including system planning, configuration, upgrades, and protocol management.
  
• Experience in Troubleshooting interoperability issues across platforms (email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing) to ensure seamless operations.
  
• Ability to configure systems to meet user requirements; perform testing and document results; run systems analysis and technical writing to support SOPs
  
• Ability to develop and implement network architecture and layout designs; and support network security, database administration
  
• Expertise in network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, encryption devices such as TACLANEs) and LAN/WAN communications; Utilize network monitoring and security tools (e.g., What's Up Gold, Cisco Tetration, Cisco ISE).
  
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF) and advanced technologies (MPLS, VPLS, VPN, traffic engineering)
  
• Experience managing and supporting Active Directory enterprise environments
  
  Preferred:
  
  • Preferred familiarity with network management tools and software suites, such as Microsoft SharePoint, NetIQ, Nagios, and MRTG (Multi Router Traffic Grapher).
    
  • Cisco certifications, for example, CCNA, or CCNP are highly preferred.
