VTG is seeking an Operations Manager to support our client on-site at Fort Belvoir.
What will you do?
- Ensure implementation and production schedules are executed as planned
- Manage and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support on-time delivery and conflict resolution
- Coordinate and resolve survey-related and operational issues
- Ensure effective use of survey and system resources
- Supervise operational staff and support day-to-day execution activities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with government and program stakeholders
Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field
Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree - 5+ years of IMS experience, including at least 2 years leading scheduling personnel
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online)
- Demonstrated experience developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing IMS on complex programs
- Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check, BEI, CPLI, SPI
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior military leadership and program teams
Clearance & Travel
- Active Secret clearance required at the time of application
- Travel up to 25%, as required
