Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support advanced aerospace and defense initiatives in St. Louis, MO. This role will contribute to the development of complex, highly integrated systems with a focus on digital engineering and autonomy, supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities for the Model-Based Systems Engineer include:
- Support MBSE implementation and digital engineering strategy across system development programs
- Work with engineering teams to support system design, modeling, and integration efforts
- Perform requirements analysis, system architecture development, and trade studies
- Develop and maintain SysML models using tools such as Cameo/MSOSA
- Support verification, validation, and test planning activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with program requirements and delivery timelines
Qualifications for the Model-Based Systems Engineer include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience (or 3+ years with Master's)
- Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, MagicDraw) and SysML modeling
- Understanding of systems engineering processes and lifecycle methodologies
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Previous Experience with Avionics Preferred
- Active Secret Clearance required
