Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join a mission-driven team delivering critical infrastructure support and software development services. This role supports the Department's highest priority-combating terrorism and threats to national security-by ensuring security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. An Active Top Secret Clearance is Required to be considered.

Responsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer include:
- Ensure security is fully integrated into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Implement and mature DevSecOps practices across development and operations teams
- Combine software development and IT operations to improve efficiency, reliability, and delivery speed
- Work across coding, infrastructure management, and system administration
- Design, implement, and support DevOps and DevSecOps toolchains
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security stakeholders to align processes and standards
- Support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and secure deployment pipelines
- Promote best practices for secure software development and operational resilience
Qualifications of the DevSecOps Engineer include:
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or related roles
- Proven experience in a DevSecOps engineering role
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies
- Experience working across both development and operations disciplines
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Compensation of the DevSecOps Engineer include:
- Contract to hire (40 hours per week guaranteed - $62 - $72/hr)
