MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Digital Platforms Capability to join our Digital Practice. This is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days in the Herndon, VA Office.
The Digital Platforms Capability Executive Director is a high-level strategic and operational role responsible for driving the growth, delivery, and innovation of enterprise platform solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, Appian, Oracle SaaS) specifically tailored for U.S. Federal Government agencies. As the Digital Platform Capability Lead, you are the visionary architect of the practice. You will sit at the intersection of business strategy, federal mission requirements, and cutting-edge technology. Your goal is to lead a high-performing team in modernizing the federal "digital core," moving agencies away from legacy IT and toward scalable, AI-integrated SaaS and PaaS environments.

As the Digital Platform Capability Lead, you are the visionary architect of the practice. You will sit at the intersection of business strategy, federal mission requirements, and cutting-edge technology. Your goal is to lead a high-performing team in modernizing the federal "digital core," moving agencies away from legacy IT and toward scalable, AI-integrated SaaS and PaaS environments.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Strategic Leadership: Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Digital Platform Capability, identifying emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Agentic Workflows) that can be integrated into platform offerings.
- Practice Growth & Sales: Lead business development efforts, including RFP responses, solutioning for large-scale federal bids, and managing executive-level client relationships to identify new opportunities.
- Delivery Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex, multi-million dollar platform implementations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting strict federal compliance and security standards.
- Team Mentorship: Build and manage a diverse team of architects, developers, and consultants. Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the team stays current on certifications and industry trends.
- SME Engagement: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital platforms, advising senior federal stakeholders on how to leverage platforms to automate operations and improve citizen services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or Engineering; an additional 12 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree.
- +15 years of experience in IT professional services or consulting, with at least 5 years specifically leading a digital platform-centric or large-scale delivery program/portfolio, with at least 12 years in a leadership/supervisory capacity.
- Advanced expertise in at least one major enterprise platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, Appian, Oracle SaaS)
- Experience in leading Digital Platform based solutions development and implementation, and "Sales Pursuit" and technical solutioning for multimillion dollar federal contracts.
- Demonstrated experience working with and understanding the unique operational landscape of Federal Government clients. Understanding of multiple technical disciplines to drive the analytics mindset to include but not limited to systems engineering, software/systems development, agile and cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, and digital engineering.
- Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of Delivery and Operations Management principles, including process improvement and operational metrics.

- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
