Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid (as contract allows)
Salary Range: Based on Technical Skills/Certifications
Clearance Requirement: Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance

Position Summary

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Program Analyst to support cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and program execution efforts across Department of Defense (DoD) and federal programs. This role will focus on ensuring adherence to cybersecurity frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, and RMF , while supporting continuous monitoring, assessments, and accreditation activities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in cybersecurity frameworks, and capable of supporting both technical and programmatic cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation and compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements
  • Apply and maintain controls aligned with NIST frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53)
  • Assist with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes including ATO package development and maintenance
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments, audits, and gap analyses
  • Develop and maintain system security documentation (SSP, POA&M, SAR, etc.)
  • Monitor and report on cybersecurity compliance status across programs
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and government stakeholders
  • Support incident response planning and continuous monitoring activities
  • Provide recommendations to improve cybersecurity posture and compliance


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science , or related field
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • CMMC
    • NIST frameworks (800-171, 800-53)
    • Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance (required).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology , or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • CompTIA Security+ , Network+ , or A+
    • CCNA
    • Other cybersecurity or IT certifications (CISSP, CEH, etc. are a plus)
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal contracts
  • Familiarity with tools used for compliance tracking and vulnerability management
